Jędrzej Śniadecki – 250

On January 28, 2018 the opening ceremony of the 250th birthday of Jędrzej Śniadecki at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan was organized by the Poznan Society of Jędrzej Sniadecki, Karol Olszewski and Zygmunt Wróblevski (Stowarzyszenie im. Jędrzeja Śniadeckiego, Karola Olszewskiego i Zygmunta Wróblewskiego). The event saw the premiere of the documentary filrm Jędrzej Śniadecki – 250. Director Emilia Sadowska told about the production of the film in Lithuania, Belarus and Poland. The manuscripts and books of Sniadecki, preserved at the Wroblewski Library of the Lithuanian Academy of Sciences, were presented. At the end of the event, there was a concert of film music composed by composer Kresimir Dęmbski. Music was first performed in public.
